Supporting local families during the holidays
Each fall, the Rotary Club of San Antonio collects underwear, socks, toothbrushes and other necessities as part of the Skivvies for Tots program.
Rotarian Bob Loring, well-known for his many years as coordinator of Toys for Tots of East Pasco, launched Skivvies for Tots in response to a need he saw in the local community. The clothing and personal care items are distributed along with the toys in December at several distribution sites throughout Pasco County.
Loring says, "I can attest that many of our deserving Toys for Tots families go first (and before collecting toys) to the Skivvies for Tots table. These important addition items are truly appreciated by the parents."
I wish to thank all the Rotary clubs involved," says Loring. "But I must say, no one does it better, and with more love and caring than the members of the Rotary Club of San Antonio! Our program and our community are blessed to have such wonderful Rotary partners! "

Counting all five of East Pasco toy distributions, over 4,000 children are served with toys, skivvies, and a helpful food distribution each holiday season.
