Rotaract of St. Leo

As co-sponsors of the Rotaract Club of Saint Leo University, our Club lends support to this very active and productive club.  We attend their weekly meetings, participate  in their on- and off-campus functions, and invite the students to assist in our activities.  Nowhere is this camaraderie more evident than at the annual Rattlesnake Festival & Run where Rotaractors chair committees and assist in every aspect of the event.  We also serve as mentors for the students, educating them about Rotary, advising them, and making sure they are included in district seminars and meetings.
Rotaract has the following goals:
To develop professional and leadership skills
To emphasize respect for the rights of others, based on recognition of the worth of each individual
To recognize the dignity and value of all useful occupations as opportunities to serve
To recognize, practice, and promote ethical standards as leadership qualities and vocational responsibilities
To develop knowledge and understanding of the needs, problems, and opportunities in the community and worldwide
To provide opportunities for personal and group activities to serve the community and promote international understanding and goodwill toward all people."

Rotaract is an international program for adults ages 18 to 30 who want to make a difference. It was founded in 1968 by Rotary International, an association of clubs made up of service-minded business and professional leaders.

The Rotaract Club of Saint Leo aims to play an active role in building community involvement and service, professional networking, and personal excellence and leadership as an emerging presence in the Saint Leo, Dade City, and San Antonio community.
